For almost 20 years Old Pueblo Riders has supported the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind of Tucson by partnering up with the school to host an annual motorcycle poker run. We start at the ASDB school by giving rides to the students on trikes, motorcycles with a side car, and Can-am spiders.
Our poker run consists of all riders from all style of motorcycles arriving at ASDB, Riders can get a free pancake breakfast with is provided by the Lions Club of Oro Valley. Riders than get registered and pick up there event merchandise which typically consist of an event bag, pin with custom drawing from one of the students at ASDB, and wrist band into the concert event after the ride.
Every year in January we ask the student to draw us pictures of motorcycles. Then during our monthly meeting we vote on the best picture then used on our annual Run for the kids event pin and event shirt. Each student who draws a picture also gets a shirt with their drawing on it.
